Treetops Scout Camp and Activity Centre

Treetops is located approximately 30 minutes from Melbourne Airport and 45 minutes from the centre of Melbourne and 3.7 km from the township of Riddells Creek.

Treetops is owned by Scouts Australia Victoria Branch, the camp is operated and maintained solely by unpaid volunteers, therefore your co-operation in looking after the campsite is appreciated.

  • All fees raised contribute to the cost of maintaining and development of the campsite for the benefit of our youth members.
  • All campers/visitors are expected to behave in a considerate and courteous manner and to ensure all campsites and facilities are kept clean.

The park is an accredited accommodation provider with the Macedon Ranges Shire Council and on 69 acres of lightly bushed land and provides camping areas both powered and unpowered for over 1000 people and building accommodation for 90 people. It is used by a variety of organisations such as scout, school, youth, church, family, grey nomads, back packers and industry groups for accommodation, camping, recreation, conferences, seminars, training courses etc.

A variety of activities are provided throughout the park suitable for team building activities or just a spot of fun.

The park also provides a small non-denominational outdoor chapel in a quiet bush-land setting that is suitable for weddings and other ceremonies.

Throughout the park there are numerous toilet and shower blocks available. A picnic shelter with tables and gas BBQ is located adjacent to the dam. There is also a large 60 x 30 foot Activity shelter suitable for wet day programs.

Mobile phone reception is available throughout the camp.

Limited WiFi is available in the vicinity of the buildings.
